Civl 3D and Raster Design Integration.

Win 7, 64bit deployments of each on an application server, each installed on a new computer, Civil 3D first, then Raster Design. User reports that the Raster Design menu/functionality are missing from his Civil 3D GUI. I did not notice anything in building the Raaster deployment build to integrate.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

There is a separate starting Icon when using Raster.

(Also it is in the Start Menu.)

This is a known issue when you have 2012 Raster design installed.  In the "readme" file for installation of 2013, it states that if you have 2012 Raster design installed, you must first uninstall it.  Well, I did that and still had the issue.  The Raster desgin 2013 is NOT loading. Its not loading when you select the Raster desgin on Civil 3d icon nor is it loading on the regular Civil 3d.

Obviously its a known issue if it's documented within the installation, but whats the fix?

    Thanks

    Got the fix.

From the command line, type in cuiload.  The "load/unload Customizations menu pops up.

From there, browse out to "C:\program files\autodesk\raster design 2013\userdatacache\AecCo.cuix" and click open

    Then load

    Then close

And now you should have the Raster Tools Ribbon shown.
