What is AeciSk42 and why is it crashing my raster design

I just upgraded to raster design 2006.
The installation completed normally.
When I go to start Raster design, it goes thru the start-up process until it gets to the following line
loading…Aeci Sk…then I get a beep and the following:

The “Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library” box pops up with the message
“ Runtime error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Autocad 2006\acad.exe
Abnormal program termination”

The next screen says
”Runtime error Program :C\Program Files\Autocad 2006\acad.exe”
“This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.”
Now I’m not sure that that individual line is causing the problem, It is just that that is the line that seems to be loading when the load terminates.

I have Windows XP Professional SP2.
Lots of memory and hard drive space.

Acad 2006 runs just fine.
I upgraded from raster design 2004 which ran OK.
I have dual monitors. I recently changed from individual card to a single matrox 450, but everything seems to be working properly.
In addition to Acad & Raster design I have Acroplot and Acurender loaded.

My last resort, before a reformat and reinstall of XP is to uninstall Acroplot and Acurender.
I did that and still no Raster Design.
Any conflicts noted?
Any suggestions?
