Tiff Loses Colour raster data when converting to bi-tonal

Hi.

First of all I'm a newbie when it comes to RD. I was testing out RD by opening a PDF drawing, converting it to a TIFF then inserting it into RD. I then inverted the colours so the background was black and set the image to bi-tonal. When I did this, anything that wasn't white disappeared. Is there an option to change all colours to white so I can make use of RD's features?

Thanks

Tony

Ok so bitonal is just black and white (bi=2) and it tends to be very harsh in choosing colours. It's like a fax; only black comes up (and dust) . You should rather edit the image to greyscale, then down to indexed colour. Or you could use the colour replace function in photoshop or similar to replace colours with black if you have clean lines. The converter then seems to invert black and white for working in ACAD.

Upload an example here if you can so we can be more helpful.
