Extra "P" on end of all recognized text

First time using Raster Design, within Civil Series 2004-

Every time I use the text recognition feature, it adds a "P" to the end of
my text. I have it set up to use style Arial-Italic (font Arial,
italicized, height 0) instead of trying to match the font in the raster.
I've searched options and text recognition settings, but have found nothing
about adding a suffix to recognized text. The verifier window doesn't show
the extra P, but it shows up every time I hit OK. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks-

Shawn

Hi Shawn,

The P is a paragraph mark. The only work-around at this point is to simply
delete the P´s from the resultant text.

OK- seems a bit unnecessary. Why would it put a paragraph mark in every
text entity? What's the point? In otherworks, you have this great program
that can automate the process of text recognition and new entity creation,
but you can't stop it from putting an extra P at the end of everything? I'm
not generally a boorish person, but I can think of no other response than
that's just plain stupid. Sorry if I offend, but come on. I didn't
purchase the program so I could spend an extra 1/2 hour per image going
through and deleting Ps. This seems like a serious bug to me, and one that
shouldn't be difficult to fix.

I had this problem and ended up saving the project in 2000 format and then
used Map6/Raster Design 3 to do text.
I am like you and hope a fix is on the way. It has been long enough.
