Do projection transforms work using iinsert from command line?

Using the GUI, the Image/Insert will transform a geotif from one projection to another successfully. However, I need to run the iinsert command from the command line and discovered that the transform was not performed. I am trying to insert a georeferenced tif into a dwg. The projections differ in the tif and the dwg, and the command when run from the command line does not perform the transform. The environment is Map3D 2007 and Raster 2007, the command is being called from VBA. This will also need to work in Map/raster 2011.

Id their a command line argument I can use? Is this just not possible? Any assistance would be appreciated.
