AutoCAD R12/R13/R14 DWG Format Archive

Been trying to install it on Windows 98 SE with utter failure. "FATAL ERROR: !PMSDOSA 3" is my result after running acad.exe

What operating system is least likely to give me so many problems? Also, I hear there's an Autocad R12 for Win and an Autocad R12 for DOS. How do I know which version I have? The install brings up an Autocad 386 dos box..

The DOS version of AutoCAD 12 will run on MS-DOS 5.0 while the Windows version would probably run best on Windows 2.0 to 2.11.
