xrefs and arrows

In a file there is a leader with a custom arrow. I have xref'd this
file to another file and the leader line comes in with a default
autocad arrow. However as soon as I bind the xref the arrows show up
correctly. Is there any way to make autocad view the xref'd leaders
with the custom arrow instead of going to a default

It's a known AutoCAD bug. There's a patch out there which I've heard fixes this
but I don't know which it is or where to get it.

I wish my system administrators would let me get it. That default arrowhead is
nasty.

There doesn't seem to be anything on the R14 patch page
(http://www.autodesk.com/support/autocad/patch14.htm). I think the "patch"
is A2K, which does not have this problem.

Sorry... it's not a patch. It's version 14.01 which, apparently, was (is)
free to registered users. Like I said... I don't have it but I know (i.e. a
colleague told me) it exists. Good luck!

Greg,

Call your dealer. 14.01 upgrade is a free CD.

No solution... just a workaround. Explode your leaders... i didn't say
you were gonna like it.
