How do I change the default file directory that comes up after startup when you try to open a file in release 14 and 2000? can anyone help? kevin.withers@cisco-eagle.com

Hi,

change the Start in directory in your startupicon
(select the icon, right-click, go to properties and Shortcut.) Set the startin
to wherever you want the fileselection to start. In 2000i there's a variable
called rememberfolders, which lets you make AutoCAD remember where you were
last.
