Setting Layers as Default

Does anyone know how I can set a certian layer as the default so when I am drawing in a certain layer and want to continue drawing in that layer but want to do soemthing quick like add some text (dtext) that is automatically defaults to my detext layer. Then when I am done doing dtext it will go back to the layer I was drawing in? Please email me at bjbbiker@aol.com

It's easy. Just buy a program that includes
autolayer functions. I use the add on program archt and it works great for
layering.
