Installing and Running AutoCAD R14 on Windows XP Professional

Can someone please help me out with getting this program to run on Windows XP Professional.
That is if it is possible...
If it is not possible, what AutoCAD will we need to upgrade to?

Thank you for you time...
Any help would be appreciated.

It WILL run, but is not supported. It will install normally, just make sure you have administrator rights. For some "official" verbiage.... http://www.autodesk.com/us/xp_compatibility.htm

Hi,

We can not install it: although the install from the deployment point runs
without error, when autocad starts, it does not find the network license and
exits.

Installing in exactly the same way on NT4 works like a charm: autocad finds
the license server immediately, gets its token and starts. With XP, it
doesn't even call on the license server: I have the ADLM at maximum
verbosity and it does not even log a packet from that host.

Is it doable ?
