I do not know how to do a 3dface for arcs, curves or circles. I need to put a face on an arc and do not know how. Please e-mail me @ ksmith@facilitecusa.com if you have an answer. Thanks, Keith Smith
THE EASY WAY IS TO DRAW YOUR ARC AND CLOSE THE ARC USING A SINGLE LINE. THEN TYPE 'REGION'AND THEN 'ENTER'. SELECT THE ARC AND THE LINE AND THEN TYPE 'ENTER'. AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN IT SHOULD READ THAT 1 LOOP HAS BEEN CREATED AND THAT A REGION HAS BEEN MADE. THIS CAN NOW HAVE MATERIALS APPLIED TO IT AND FUNCTIONS THE SAME WAY AS A 3D FACE.
REGIONS CAN BE FORMED FROM ANY CLOSED SHAPE.
