    section of power plant

    Hello!
Is it possible to create sections of power plant in Plant 3D?
    Explanation:
All concreate basins and steel structures of the plant are made in Inventor and I import it in Plant 3D.
All equipment, pipes and fittings are made in Plant 3D on imported Inventor arrangement.
Problem exist when I try to make sections of Plant. With imported Inventor SAT file I don´t have a problem. Everything works just fine. But pipes, fittings and equipment modeling in Plant 3D can´t be sectioned. Does someone know how to resolve this issue?

Second problem is plotting form Plant 3D. Is it possible to edit pipe and fitting lines without explode it. Lets say that I want to edit center line
separately, but now I can´t do this because it´s in the same layer as pipe line, for instance.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Hi robroy32,
for the first question did you use the Plant 3D ortho function to create the sections?

for the second we currently do not have an interface to configure how plant 3d ortho will be created.

    Hi robroy32

1 - when you do a mix as you do, you need to be sure the object you can’t section are 3D solids.

2 – I this release, you need to explode it. I will do a little resource for a workaround on this.
