create equipement "builder" ?

hello is there a way to creat a real equipement template like pict 2 instead of pict 1 jsut sphere or cylinder?

any idea or toll can exist for that?

I model all my custom equipment myself then convert it.

i do the same but i think it could be easyer if it become parametric like the autocad template
