Good day

I have this error showing up everytime i want to change a tag "39-BX-016?" It says:

"Another asset in the project has the same tag which has not been saved. Cannot merge with that tag. Please enter a unique tag."

I'm pretty sure that there is no such duplicated tag. Thanks in advance.

use the data manager...find the TAG column (you may need to add it through the Plant 3D Class Definitions section of the project setup)

click on the tag column heading to sort then scroll till you find the tag number (make sure you have the whole project selected in the data manager)...then if you click on the first column of the the item then plant will open the dwg containing the item and zoom to it so you can either retag or delete it.

Delete the element and reacreate the same element.

this does works, no one solutions that is given by the experts can solve this issue...
