Hello,
In our company we have 10 different valve types (check valve, ball valve, safety valve…). Each valve type has in average 25 sub types with same pressure and facing. If I place a valve in Plant 3D I have to choice the valve in a list of 250 entries. When i like to replace it I get also a list about 250 different valves in the context menu. Is there a possibility to create subtypes for valves in Plant 3D? For example: If I like to replace a check valve I would only see valves of type check valve?

From the sounds of it, you are using the default spec that comes with Plant3D?
You can make your own spec for the particular project with only items that belong in the spec for that project/client.
