Old project names in project manager

In the Project Manager tool pallete there is a drop down menu under "Current Project" which shows the name of all the projects that have ever been created in P3D. Even when I physically delete a project file and folders, the name is still there. Is there a way to remove the name of old projects from this list ?

As far as I know, there seems not to be a way to delete the project history within project manager.
Let me figure out if we can do it by some other methods.

Haven't you been able to figure it out yet ? I even Uninstall/Reinstalled AP3D but to my surprise, the project history is still there !?!?!?1
