I just received instruction to run a BOM (Bill Of Materials) on an entire piping job.  Meaning, we want to extract a BOM that accounts for every line number we have in that job folder.  Is that possible to do?

Yes, you'll need to group your items according to the line number.  Use the report creator.  At the bottom of the page referred to in the link below there is a short section on grouping. Basically, you'll switch out the Short description field with the Line number tag field.
