ucs problems in plant 2015

Hi, guys, i have problem i never had before in previous releases! for some reason UCS doesnt stay where i "place" it. i am changing ucsm but when i try to draw in the plane i need - ucs automatically returns back to world!!! right after i give a command, like, line or pline and click on the first point, ucs changes to world till i cancel the command. What's going on???

thanks

Same thing in 2014.  Routing a segment of a new pipe automatically pops back in WCS.  I guess plant 3d can't handle non-wcs work.

I see that you are having an issue with some of your UCS settings when you are placing Plant 3D objects in your drawing. I am curious if you have tried using the View Manager and switching preset views or the ViewCube?

The preset views can be accessed by the VIEW command.

Also, when you are routing pipe and components you can type "P then Enter" in the command line and this will switch planes to available routing planes.

Try using one of these methods to switch your UCS view and see if this helps.

I have. I will experiment some more with it tomorrow.  Also does 'P' command do the same thing as ctrl-right click?  My problem is slightly different.  UCS does not change unitl I have finished placing the component.  It then switches to wcs and stays that way.  It is like that on all our workstations

Yes, entering "P" does the same thing as CTRL+Right Click.

as I already told Quentin in subscription support case - switching between planes is not a problem - the problem is when i try to DRAW something - the moment i click on a first point after giving command to draw a line, pline, curle etc - the very same moment ucs returns to world! as you see on pic 3 - everything is ok, the plane is whet i want, BUT on pic 4 - as soon as i start drawing - returns to world

Thanks, vakhtang.

Honestly, I don't understand why UCSDETECT is set default to 1. I don't see why that could be a good idea.
I'm probably just a bit old fashoned.
