line not picking up 'from' and 'to' information (P&ID)

i have created a new piece of equipment which all works fine apart from when i insert a line from or to it, in the propoerties for the line it doesnt pick up where the line is going from and to.

anybody know how to fix this?

Are you just getting the "??-??" showing up on the to/from in Data Manager?

I'm getting nothing at all showing up in data manager.

cant understand why, ive checked all the settings on the new tank against the settings on an existing tank which works perfectly, but for some reason it just wont work with the new tank.

you made mention of a tank in your last post, is the tank over 20m dia if so it's a known bug bug see http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-Plant-3D/Tank-dia-problem/m-p/2573508#M135

I REMADE THE BLOCK AND IT WORKS FINE NOW.
