hi,
i have some problems with Stub ends in isometrics.
When i make a Flange with stub ends and:
BW connection (steel), the second stub end is in the same direction as the first one.
PPL connection (Plastic), the second stub end is in the same direction as the first one.
PSW connection (Plastic), i become one ismetrics for pipes and for the flange only without symbol.
made i something wrong in catalog builder, Plant3d connections or Isometrics settings?
i made screenshots for detailed information.
Hi,
Are you saying that you have issues with ISO generation of these pipes. Do provide me some additional information on what you are seeing as an issue with these pipes.
When i made the Iso from Pipe 1 and 2, than is the 2 second stub End in the wrong way.
and i become 3 isos for Pipe 3
The issue that you describe has been reported by other customers to Autodesk Development team and is being researched.I will keep you posted, if i hear any updates from them. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Hi Hermann
I am sure I have had the same problem before...
Try checking the settings of your Backing Ring for the Flange, I think that is where the problem is.
My backing ring is set as follows:
End1 FL
End2 LAP
StubEnd is
End1 LAP
End2 BV
And for the auto flange connection to work, it will need a gasket.
Hope this info helps.
