Warning box when migrating specs to 2014??

I've gone through the tools to migrate my catalogs and specs.  The process completed and said everything was fine.

For some reason, when I open the migrated spec, I get the following dialog box.  What's going on??

I am having the same issue. I have tried serveral work arounds, but cannot get the catalog migrated.

I would hope that the programmers at Autodesk would respond to these problems quickly so that we can get our projects out the door.We have invested thousands of dollars in software and time to learn these programs and are at the mercy of Autodesk to get these problems fixed. So please Autodesk RESPOND so we can move on.

Yes,

I got the same problem. But I solved it.

I opened the spec file, than I closed that warning message than I save as... the spec file.

The new spec file worked well than.

I tried the above solution, but for some reason I am unable to do a 'save as' with the same name.  I'll try again tomorrow by saving with a new name.

You have to change the name. Than you can delete the original spec, and than do an another save as to restore the original filename.

That did the trick.  Thanks.

I'm sure that the Plant developers didn't intend the spec migration to work like this!!

Not being on the development team, I can't comment, but you wouldn't want a conversion to overwrite the original file, if something goes wrong, you can always try it again on the file that works, and its a form of backup to have the old version in one spot, and the converted in another.
