Victualic fittings

We're demoing ACAD Plant 3D 2010. Recently I've been asked to do a mechanical room with Victualic fittings. Victualic has great resources on their website including a plugin for vanilla ACAD.

Are there any plans to produce a catalog of Victualic parts on Autodesk's part? Or is that something that we as a client would need to do? Edited by: cuttingedgeplumbing on May 3, 2010 4:01 PM

From http://www.victaulic.com/content/productcadfiles.htm it appears that Revit MEP is 'comming soon'. Let's hope that ACAD Plant 3D will follow suite and 'come soon' too.

Thanks for your question.

Our current focus regarding catalog and parts content is on support for the most common standards. We're adding more of these standards in the 2011 release and also via content packs that we'll make available for download from Plant Exchange as they become available. While we are not focusing on manufacturer catalogs at this time, we are exploring some options for reusing catalogs from other Autodesk applications - Victaulic might be in this category. We should know more about this soon.

Victaulic is currently working with Autodesk in reviewing various options to create a catalog of our grooved piping components and fittings for the Plant 3D software.
