Philip,
Thanks for your input. I'll make a note of the request for etransmit to
include required Plant 3D files. It's a good topic to look into for a future
release.
In the case of specs, you only need them if you're going to add new piping
components. When you place a component in the model, it is self contained.
It doesn't need the spec to create an iso, show up on a report, etc. We
store links back to the spec so that we can check to see if the spec
changes, but beyond that, it has everything it needs.
Depending on what you're trying to do - (edit the copy of the models and
bring them back, or just review them) will affect what you need. Most likely
the other person will need a copy of the project. This doesn't have to be
transferred each time, but they will need a project to put the drawings in
if they're going to modify them.
You will also may want to include Xrefs. If you're just sending orthos or
isos, you can send them without any other files.
If you want to discuss the hows and whys of transferring files in different
circumstances, perhaps it deserves it's own discussion thread.
Thanks again for your feedback.

not to sure which files are required when sending a P3D model to another
person, i'm guessing any user specs etc, are these items going to be added
to the Etransmit command? just tried and i had to manualy add the Specs, not
to sure what else is needed, but would be nice to have any other files
required for P3D to function on another system to be attached also.
