The components you are trying to connect error msg

I am working on a spec and am getting the msg box saying: The components you are trying to connect have different properties (PartFamilyLongDesc).  I am placing a valve into the pipe line....of course their PartFamilyLongDesc is going to be different.  Anyone seen this before and can give me some insight in resolving?  I have attached a pic of the msgbox.

Are you allowed to place the part on the pipe? If you are allowed, is the part shown as connected or disconnected?

I can place the valve, after receiving the msgbox for both end connections, each saying that if I do connect, then I will have a "warning glyph".  Upon completion, I have no "disconnect drips" and by the way, no warning glyph either.

I ended up rebuilding the spec and got all of it working without the errmsgbox
