Supports (Pipe clamps) in Python

hi Everyone,

i have created some supports (pipe clamps) in python for Plant 3d because the standard ones are nice but not like this what i want 😉

OSPC001 - Pipe clamp with threaded rod

OSPC002 - Pipe clamp with anchor (with 2 stretch points)

OSPC003 - Pipe clamp with threaded rod + base plate

OSPC004 - Pipe clamp with threaded rod ant nuts for fixing on steel construction (with 2 stretch points)

Everyone can use it. maybe other people have also some stuff and will share it. that would be nice 🙂

hi,

Script Locations

Plant 3D will load custom scripts from a specific location.  By default that location is C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2013 Content\CPak Common\CustomScripts\.  If you do not have this folder, you can create it in the CPak Common folder.

Load Scripts into Plant 3D

Open Plant 3d and use the command "Plantregistercustomscript". after this it will be available in the catalog 🙂

not sure what you mean.

if you mean if you get Bill of material out, then the answer is yes because it is part of the plant 3d enviroment.

if you mean if you can write something in the python code to etablish a SQL connection to anther not plant 3d script, then the answer is: i think it is not possible 😞
