Strange Errors in Iso

Attached is an excerpt from an isometric which has some odd annotations. The spec for this line is "AG" which was converted from Autoplant to PLANT3D. I don't know why there are two extra USERDEFINEDLINES (-1 and -2). I don't know what items 6 and 7 are as all material is called out on the BOM in items 1 thro' 5. Also, the containers for some of the annotations do not encompass the text. These problems only show up with this converted spec. Can the spec be repaired in some way to work correctly in PLANT3D?

Since this is a converted spec from Autoplant it might be an issue with the assigned SKEY's. The Autoplant SKEY's might be different from the SKEY's that are Plant 3D defined SKEY's. I would compare SKEY's to the parts that you are not having the issue with to those that are working correctly. Then change the SKEY's if needed.

Hi Quentin,

I checked the fittings and the SKEYs are good but, the pipe components have no SKEY defined in "Content Iso Symbol Definition". Can I update the spec to rectify this?

Quentin,

I updated the piping components to add the SKEY and ran the iso again but, the same errors appeared on the isometric.

Quentin,

I remodeled the piping in spec CS150 and the same errors appeared on the isometric. This does not seem to be spec related. Any other suggestions for fixing these errors?

Could you try to start a new project and construct a simple model. Then run a quick iso and use one of the default Iso styles. Does the issue still occur?

Quentin,

I have been investigating this problem further and it seems to only happen on vertical piping when the components are fitting to fitting. Attached is an Iso created using the "Check_ANSI-B" profile. As you can see at each end of the piping there is a vertical section with components fitting to fitting and the software has added weld numbers and spool numbers at these locations.

I have this issue as well.  On components that are FTF, a weld number is annotated.  I've gone through the xml file to the FTF section and disabled it, but to no avail.

I'm running 2014 Ext.2.

Can you post the PCF used to create the iso?

Peter,

I managed to get an answer from our software provider (SolidCad). It required editing the Isoconfig.xml to disable SpoolNumber and WeldNumber in the FittingToFitting Theme.
