When I try to change the default title block to a preferred client title block for ISO drawings, I have trouble viewing it. I save the modified file as a dwt placing it in the location where iso borders dwt would be found.
Once I open the setup Title Block for review, it will show the new title block, then disappear. Please tell me what's happening? When I run my Iso's the border is in, but I can't review it to make changes.

The fun thing about modifying the ISO template is that stuff starts to dissapear everytime you open it. It is something I have found while working within it.
The best thing is to have a backup of your notes or block somehwere else so you can drop it back in when its deleted.
If only your title block dissapears just add it back by using "INSERT" block. Its pretty annoying when it happens in the midst of your work.
DONT SWITCH DRAWINGS WHEN YOU HAVE ISO.dwt OPEN FOR MODIFYING!!!!
If you do this, you can tab back and forth between different drawings that you are looking at, and suddenly more and more of your template dissapears.
Keep in mind also --> If you add something in addition to your title block, usually that gets deleted first on its own instead of the block. Then if you dont put it back, next thing that will get deleted is your title block.
Fun stuff, hope that helps
Is the title block called "Title Block"
So it appears the answer is, this is normal and theirs nothing I really can do about it but re-insert the border? And yes, it's called "Title Block." Thanks guys if you can think of anything else. please let me know.
I also am having a similar problem, except that if i do nothing to the ISO.dwt my bill of material comes out jumbled, if i do anything with the drawing area,
the bill of material prints properly but the border and title block are gone.
What exactly has to be named TITLE BLOCK ?
my template is called ISO.dwt (just like the out of the box template is)
very frustrated at this point
Apparently the ISO.dwt we recieved was corrupt, we deleted the OOTB border and replaced client border and problem was solved
I too was having this problem. There are many finicky things about P3D but I have a fix for you until Autodesk can sort this out, hopefully within the next 10 years at the rate they are going...

Short answer: Make sure your Title Block doesn't contain any visibility states. If you have none, delete any other Action Parameter, make sure it consists of only attributes.
You shoud see this video. Easy to make your title block
