Python script for parametric elements

Is it possible to add new parametric elements with python script?

I see that all elements stay in "variants" file in CPAK Common folder. For example, pipe have parametric code "CPP", and it's programmed that it will be cylinder. May be is posible to add new parametric form for pipe and it will be square?

Or for example to create new form for valves or clamps.

Thank you

Yes you could do that.
