Hello everyone.

This has been baffling me for quite a while.... We have a requirement to have out document names the conatin the project number. I have attached 2 images showing where we type in the project number (whilst setting up the project) and where I would like to be able to pull it into (on creation of a new drawing).

I have attempted to create an acusition property and pull it in. But it seems that the file name cannot contain any 'aqusition properties'.....

Does anyonw know of a work aruound or a solutions (I'm not really wanting to type the number in everytime when I create a new drawing).

Any solutions welcome.

I was going to suggest similar to what you had already done. Create a new pulldown list (which unfortunately won't be an acquisition) which has the project number already listed, so when you create a new drawing, there is a pulldown for the project number, and its the only entry.

That is pretty much the conclusion that I had also come to.
