Piping Grips Disappeared

Has anyone run into a situation were their piping grips have dissapeared? One of our designers is having this issue but if you open up the same dwg on a different machine and go to the same pipe, they're all there. On his machine, some of the grips show up but not all of them. Please see the attachments for clarification. The first one is what he sees on his machine and the second is what I see on my machine...

Can you able to share the project file with us. I can create a secure FTP and send them to you for upload.

I had a similar issue, the property of the intelligent object also will be lost. In this case, you have to model again, there is no solution for this as of now, if you have lost the intelligent of objects.

I would agree except the grips and intellegence are there one everyone else's computers. If he created a component then saves and then I open the dwg and go to the component that he just created, I can see the grips. So, the intelegence is there, he just can't see it...

It seems to be all piping that is created by him. Has all grips on my computer but not on his. Here are the screen shots...

good_prop-1 - top half my properties

good_prop-2 - bottom half my properties

bad_prop-1   - top half his properties

bad_prop-2   - bottom half his properties

Here is the last attachment. It wouldn't let me put them all in one...

Have you tried singing into his machine and seeing what happens when you open the drawing under your own profile on his machine.

I have heard this happening where it's just a user who's profile gets corrupt and they had to reinstall Plant.

I'm wondering if this would be something that some kind of cleanup on his machine could fix? Like an AUDIT or some other similar command....

Everything works just fine when I sign into his machine...

Try running PnPLocalDataCachePurger.exe with the user's login

It can be found in your Plant 3D program installation folder under Program Files.

Windows XP : C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011

Win7 : C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011

I've tried running the PnPLocalDataCachePurger.exe and it doesn't clear up the grip issues. Any other options/opinions? Similar issues have started happening on my machine now. If I lose the grip I can delete the pipe or elbow or whatever and replace it with a new one and the grips are back. Seems like a strange problem...

Ive had this problem, turned out that the piping guy had used clipped views in model space, i dragged them wider and it seams to fix it.

This happens to us in the model, not in a drawing. The original problem started with him not having any grips while trying to route pipe. Now, the rest of us seem to have to switch to wireframe in order to see our grips(continuation/move grips)...

I am bringing this thread back to life.

I am experiencing the same thing on any project I open on my PC.  However, if I go to wireframe, I see the grips and can use them but in any shaded view, I cannot.  In X-Ray view, I can see them but can't pick them thru the transparent material.

Any ideas on this?
