Was this drawing created in Plant3d?  If so, was it created as a P&ID?

Thanks for the step by step.  I have had this happen to me.  For whatever reason when a drawing is created through the project manager ACAD puts some kind of identifier in the background to tell plant that is a PnID or Ortho or Iso or whatever drawing.  So for example, if you tried to copy an othro drawing to the project in to the models folder you would get an error message.

Having said that, my only guess is that the template you are using for the PnID was actually created in some other folder and the program doesn't recognise it as a PnID.  So try making a new dwg from another template and see if that will let you add the components.  Then you should be able to cut and paste.

Thanks,

Ed

I send you message. I think that it's happen because your path of direction project is too large. Move it to Desktop or create virtual disc in "My PC" of windows...

You're working in a project that came with Plant 2012 training manual, but you are using plant 2013. Maybe the project didn(t convert ? Did you try in a complete new project ?

I solved the problem by myself. you should change your display language to English if you are from Turkey or any other countries who have this problem guys. It happens because of the computer's language settings.
