Several of you have run into an issue where the 'Autocolouring' that happens by the Plant 3D Project for things like colourbysize, etc is resulting in assigning true colour values (i.e. 0, 255,0) instead of AutoCAD Colour '3' for example, which in turn is causing plotting issues for both the model and downstream, the Orthos.
DISCLAIMER: The attached lisp file is unsupported and to be used or not used at YOUR OWN RISK.
What this lisp does is convert a selection of objects or ALL objects in either the model OR the Ortho from using true colour to Index colour.
1. to load, enter command APPLOAD, and select and load the lisp file
2. In the 3D model:
a. Use command
FIXACI to allow you to select specific objects to convert to AutoCAD Index colour.
b. Use command
FIXACIALL to allow you to convert ALL AutoCAD objects to AutoCAD Index colour.
3. In the ORTHO model:
a. Use command
FIXACIBLOCK to allow you to select specific ortho blocks to convert to AutoCAD Index colour.
b. Use command
FIXACIBLOCKALL to allow you to convert ALL AutoCAD blocks to AutoCAD Index colour.
4. If you are using true colour anywhere in your models, you should take care to avoid the commands that convert ALL objects if you want to retain the true colours, as opposed to the AutoCAD Index Colours
5. Remember the disclaimer, and test first - undo and not saving work if something terrible happens, but this lisp is unsupported.
6. This message will self destruct.
