OFF PAGE CONNECTORS

Hi all,

I have created 2 P&ids,i want to added an off page connector from the 1st to 2 nd.I have included the Drawing number, the service type and also destination i.e TO.

My issue is that on the first P&id i have the service, dwg number but not the "to" where it goes???(on the off page connector.

Can someone please explain me ...whether i should create 2 off page connectors..

1 off page connector as "TO"

1 off page connector as "FROM"

and how to create it am having a hell in making it work.......

am using version 2014 plant 3d

Regards

Default OPC has text of drawing title (or name). For introduce that fields you need selected the dwg in the project manager, right click, properties, and then write the description fields of the file.

For configure OPC you need to go to Project Setup in the Class Definition, and in the part "Non Engineering items" there are OPC to modify.

Pick the OPC on the first page, then right click, and say "Connect To", in which you'll be presented with a dialog box asking which drawing and OPC  you want to connect to.

I have attached the 2 P&ids,

i have made a " TO" Off page connector...on the first P&ID it Gives me the Product the P&id NO. where it is going but not the equipment nnumber.

On the Second P&ID, i used the same "TO" Off page connector,it gives me the product, the p&id Number and also it gives me the equipment number where it is going to be connected.but i require the equip. no. from where it came?????

Does some have an idea????

should i create 2 type one "to" and one "from"

????

P3D 2020 I am having the same issue ... I created an OffPageConnector block and an OnPageConnector block. When I try to connect the OffPageConnector to the OnPageConnector, the dialog only displays blocks of the same name (OffPageConnectors).

Where is the solution that tells how to create a OPC with FROM <EquipTag> and TO <EquipTag>?

If someone has an P3D admin/config link I need one
FYI after over a week of testing and research on the web, I gave up trying to have the intended separate OPC annotation for ON/OFF page connectors. I ended up using only one OPC block because any time two different block names were used for ON/OFF OPCs they would not connect.
I edited the delivered OPC to contain text TO/FROM followed by #(=PIPELINES.EQUIPTAG) to get the (nearly) desired result.
