Isometric Symbols flipping upside down

Hello,

I am in the process of creating custom valves in our 3d catalog and have started to assign skeys to the valves for isometric output. One thing I have noticed is in the iso it will display the valve symbol right side up when you are looking at the right side of the valve and it will display the valve symbol upside down when looking at the left side of the valve. Can anyone tell me how to prevent the flip from happening? We have symbols that are not asymmetric and we are using the iso for fabrication and would like to avoid valves being placed upside down. Any help would be appreciated

If you are creating your own SKEY iso symbols then you might need to make sure you are including the correct parameters. Here are a couple of links that might help with the issue you are having.

How do I create a custom Iso Symbol?

For a quick fix, open a "default valve" in the isosymbolstyle dwg, use "save as" into it and rename it to a new block that you want. Edit it the way you want the custom/new valve to appear in the ISO then save. Hope it helps. Thanks.
