Isometric Break Points in Xrefs?

When you place an isometric break point in a model that is then xref'd to another 'working' model, it doesn't appear this break point works when model is created.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm thinking my understanding of break points was incorrect.  I placed the break point on an existing line.  Since my existing piping is not dimensioned, it appears the break point does not work.

My intent was to limit the amount of existing piping that the iso would show, but while using the existing piping in the model for a good ortho background.

This is not possible at the moment. For instance if you have a A.dwg and B.dwg. If you are doing an xref of B to A, then you need to refresh the A drawing and then add break point for the pipeline in A drawing for the xrefed components. Then it should work well in your Isometric.

You can only add break points to the original drawing before creating an ISO.

Hope that helps.
