Hi, I'm able to create a spool number with a line reference and a spool number as shown in the attached pic. But i want to be able to have 999-6 instead of 9996. Does anyone know what setting i have to change to achieve this?
Also does anyone know how to get rid of the spool tags on valves and other things that aren't pipe spools?

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,

I don't know how to do the first part.

To not have spool numbers show up on the valves, set the valve's shop/field
property to Field. I think you can do this in your spec, so you won't have
to do it for each instance of a valve in your model.
