Instruments mapping

We would like to mapped instruments. We could successfully mapped valves. And now I would like to know what is the default idea for mapping instruments. We didn`t noticed any predefined subclasses. Can we create them by our self like we could do for valves(and if where and how). In catalog inline instrument is created like valve. And how can we mapped instruments that are not inline (under inline class or can we somehow create a new class).

There are 2 kinds of instruments:

1. Inline instruments (can be mapped from P&ID to 3D model )

2. General instruments (can not be mapped from P&ID to 3D model )

Like probably all others users, they have a lot of instruments like thermometers, manometers, .. . that are directly connected to pipe or equipment.

These instruments have only one connector (not 2 like inline instruments).

Users must able to check if P&ID drawings  and 3D models have the same instruments on the same pipe lines.

And these instruments must also be on isometric drawings.

The question is how do other users work with such instruments with only 1 connector?

(Inline instruments with 2 connectors are working ok).

We used the plug class in the spec editor but single port instruments are now available in the spec editor from 2014 onwards.
