Imperial to Metric connection 2014

Hi,

after enable "This joint connects imperial to metric components", I can't connect imperial to metric and also can't connect metric to metric nor imperial to imperial which I could before enabling. In 2013 version, didn't have this issue.

The imgs show a SW example trying to connect a PL pipe

thanks

Hi,

In 2014 the joint settings have changed slightly.

You now need to create a specific connection for each joint to indicate whether it is imperial-metric or not.  If you look at a default configuration, you will see that there is now a Buttweld Joint and a MixedButtweld Joint.  The checkbox in the user interface is now definitive – if it is ticked the joint is mixed only.

Therefore you need 2 different SW-PL joint settings, 1 mixed and the other not.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Andy
