How to route jacketing Pipe?

HIi I am using AutoCad Plant 3D 2014.

I want to know, How to route Jacketing Pipe in our 3D model?

Have you thought about creating a pipe in a Catalog, use matching pipe OD's as per your standard and then for the visual aspect, use D and D2 = the OD including jacketed segments.

With an object like this, edit the Long description and Long Description (size) to show "..... X" ND...., JACKETED"

Thats one way to do it, if you want to add jacketing to an existing pipe, that could be done with a sleeve component (maybe)
