How to get the weight from catalogue into spec?

HI,

Recently Autodesk has just updated the catalogue with weights. New spec created will have weights unit in it. But how about the default spec from the software? The default spec doesnt comes with weight.

How can i get the information from catalogue and put into spec.
I try to update spec from the catalogue, but it doesnt update the weight in the spec either. something that i did wrongly or any other method?

Thanks.

Regards,

Sharon

Default Specs with Weights will be uploaded to Plant exchange by this week. You can download from the below link soon.

You can add a weight column to your spec in the Specs and Catalog Editor. You don't have to wait for us to update the specs.

Open the spec in the editor and choose one of the sets of parts. Then click on Edit Parts. The Edit Properties tab allows you to add a new property such as Weight.

You probably want to select "All Part Groups" for the weight property.
