How copy equipment from reference file XREF

I'm trying to copy a pice of equipmet from a reference model , someone nows how to di it

If you're from PDS background, you know you can copy an equipment directly from an xref because this is a microstation feature.

In AutoCAD, this feature does not exist out of the box. You can only open the reference drawing and copy paste into the current drawing.

NCopy from the express tools allows you to copy from xref but it does not work with Plant 3D.
