Error Tag Equipment

The software do not recognize the tags of the equipment and when you want to rename them, an adverticement show up, it says that the tag already exist and is in use.

Is your tagging problem related to P&ID or Plant? What version of P&ID or Plant are you using? If you are getting that message then that would mean that somewhere in your project you have another piece of equipment with the same tag. You cannot have duplicate tags in the project. If you believe you do not have another piece of equipment using that tag, then close out of all drawings and run an AUDIT of your project. Then try to tag the piece of equipment again.

Hi,

Just ran into the same problem. In my case i'm working in Plant . When assigning a tag to a valve I got the message that that tag number was already assigned.

Altough, running Audit sorted the problem for me.
