Dave Wofe: Line No. wise Report in Report creator

Dear Dave,

Tried as mentioned in your site about how to set up to genereate Line No. wise report in Report creator. But I find trouble in keeping the aquisition as P3dLinegroup.tag. The window doesn't show any thing in the aquisition, please see the attached pic.

Kindly help to keep P3d Linegroup.tag in the aquisition.

I can't tell, but it doesn't appear that you created the property on the Piping and Equipment class.  Once you have it on that class, having a property acquire the tag from the line group should stick.  Can you verify which class you added the property to?

Dear Wofe, I did again, now I could get the aquisition as similar to what you have mentioned. But in report summary, the items are not separated for line no wise, instead it all appears together. In report editor, I changed as you had mentioned. Where it could have gone wrong?

Can you show a screen shot of your report groupings?

Aquisition was done for all the existing modelled items, and generated the report. Now it works fine. Thanks Dave for your valuable information at your site.
