Customizing Line Summary List

I wonder if anyone can help.
P3D allows you to customize its reports quite easily, but is there a way to add 'to' and 'from' fields to the 'LINE SUMMARY LIST'?
I have attempted the tradional method, of editing the reports through the project manager. But no glory.

Thanks in advance.

Rob

You can also use the Report Creator. The report creator allows you to create more detailed reports. Here is a link for a document that will help in configuring Report Creator.

Hi There,

Your From and To is located under P&id Class Definition In the project set-up under Lines-Pipeline segments.

Your Line Summary list grabs its own information under its own class Pipe Line Group.

So the solution is go to pipe line group in project set-up - click on add then you add a new propertyname "To" set it on acquisition mode and points it to the pipeline segments of "TO" do the same for the  " From".

When you finish just move to reports select your report type make modify under P&id object properties you shall have Pipeline group where it does include "to" and "from"

Try it....if it works kudos...

Hi,
To an extent, this method works. The only issue is that you have to manually refresh the property acqusition before the correct information will display. On a big project, this would take serious time (and obviously take up valuable man hours).
Im aware autodesk have a release in their store to fix this, but they want you to pay for it!

In 2013 this was never an issue, the 'Line List' worked as expected. Instead in 2014 the whole thing has taken a step backwards.
Ive attached some screenshots, one of 2013 and one of 2014. In both instances i created the same line, connected it the same way and used the same list from the report directory.
Once connected, 2013 only displays the Line once (no matter how many pages it crosses). 2014 will list the line on the list, according to how many different pages it crosses.

You can see for the screenshot, 2014s representation of a simple line is pretty useless, the 'TO' and 'FROM' feilds are meaningless.

Im starting to think this is an install problem, despite it behaving the same across two seperate machines.

Thanks
