Custom Parts not in B.O.M.

I am having a problem with Custom Parts showing up in the B.O.M. I click on the PLANTCUSTOMPARTS icon and create my part and place it in the model and edit the description. When I run my iso everything comes out normal except there is no callout for the item in the B.O.M.?

Most of the annotations are set up based on the symbol type. What is yours set to?

I changed INSTRUMENT to VALVE and now it shows up in the BOM.

Yes, by default Instruments are left out as they are frequently purchased by E and I groups.

Is there any way to get the instruments to show?  In my world we need to call these out on the BOM so they can be specified for purchasing.

Do you use a single BOM table or do you break it up into fabrication and erection?

Well, we provide an overall project BOM.  It's generated by the report creator.

Thank you for the link.  I will give that a try on the isos.  The items, like flowmeters, will show up in line in the iso right?  The iso is mainly for the field to use for reference during fabrication.

How would I get these to show in the BOM the report creator generates?
