Create Equipment not working

I'm having a weird issue with the create equipment dialog box not showing up. When selecting the "create equipement" button, the "_PLANTEQUIPMENTCREATE" shows up in the command line, but nothing else happens. It will stay paused like that until you hit escape.

The puzzling thing is that it seems to be tied to a particular user on a particular machine. It is not limited to one project, and someone else can log onto that machine and it works fine. Reintstalling Plant 3D produces the same result.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this?

I wonder if the dialog box is on another screen, so to speak. When that happens, press Alt then Space, then M and use the arrow keys to move the dialog box back onto the main screen. You'll see the cursor change to a 4 pointed star after you press the M key.

I have the same problem, but it doesnt work when use the same way.I only see the cursor with 4 pointed star and can not see the dialoge to edit the equipment.

Use the mouse and the arrow keys at the same time to move the dialog box off the screen.

This is my desk photo when i press Alt then Space ,and then M.only display the 4 pointed star.

Yeah, then use the mouse and arrow keys to work out where the dialog box is, then it'll come back on the screen

i resersh the desk but can not find the dialog box.the box is disappear.

when you click on the create equipment button, the window does not appear.
also the project customization function does not work.
reinstallation does not help.
