Convert From Inch To mm (DN)

Hi Autodesk Support,

What is the Steps to Convert Catalog ASME to Excel (Inch) and Return Back by Millimeters Catalog Using Catalog Builder??

 

2" To DN50  For Example

Hi Ahmed,

 

You should be able to do this by exporting to Excel and changing the sizes from imperial to metric.

 

Once you have done that you can use the Catalog Builder to build the metric version.

 

One point though is that you need to edit the Excel sheet "Port Unit_S-ALL" from Mm to mm before you build the catalog again.

Hi Ahmed,

 

I have done a quick test and it looks as though it is not be possible to convert the spec.

 

It is however possible to switch the editing units to metric though:

Hi Ahmed,

 

The screen shot shows the catalog being edited in metric rather than imperial.

 

The word "spec" in my previous post was a typo. I should have typed catalog.
