Bolt deviation on isometric

Bolt issues seems to be quite normal for plant 3D...

Take a look at the attachment. The bolt size/length comes out as mixed imperial/metric.

In the spec: both the bolt size and the length is in inches, while on the isometric it comes out as inches X mm.

So my 300# spec sais 1" bolt with legth of 6.25" for 10" flange. While the isometric gives me 1"x159 (which is clearly mm) and I need them BOTH in inches on the iso...

I have tried older posts and set up in the spec editor but have not found any solution....

Hi Trygve,

This happens when you have created a mixed (metric/british) project. Unfortunately the PipelinesSettings.xml does not work here. I have logged this issue to our development department. Currently you have to create a british project to get the right bolt set ND in the BOM of the isometric.

Folks,

I created a new version of "MetricSize" in the "Style Name" section of the isoconfig.xml.  I put in "Architechtural" for the "UnitFormat", "Precision" was "Precision3", "Prefix" , "Suffix" and "Decimal" stayed the same and "Scale" was "0.039370079"
