Batch Assign Long Description Style for Catalog?

I know how to "Batch Assign Long Description Styles" for specs, but how do you do this for catalogs?

Everytime I make a change to my catalogs, when it updates, it overwrites my specs with bad information.

To use the batch assign long descriptions styles, means you can create long description style for parts in a spec, not a catalog.

I am not sure how you are changing or just asking how to do this for catalogs.

Yes, I wanted to do this at the catalog level.  I have made a custom catalog using existing items as my starting point.  A lot of the size descriptions in my new catalog now do not match their corresponding family descriptions.

Thanks for your explanation, but I'm not sure of the reasoning to not allow this to be done at the catalog level.

i think its possible a already do that a little bit complicated..

first built your catalog without long desc

creat a new spec and insert all component in your catalog in. make sur you assigne the right long description spec you need..

then clic file>export to catalog builder

you creat a xlsx file

now start the catalog builder and build a naw catalog with the xlsx file just created save your new catalog withe the right long description....

this is the only whay i know to do what you want

i hope this help
