Hi,
I'm having issues with 3 way valves in the isometrics.
The iso splits to two isos. I have tryed in alot of different ways, but no success..
See attached pictures:
Hello!
I am just curious.
Is that a combined pneumatic membrane valve for aseptic applications?
Anyway..
try to place the center point of the symbol to the crosspoint of the lines.
So instead of having distance parameter, just place the CP where the centerline of the pneu valve intersects the centerline of the horizontal purge valve.
Hello!
Thanks for the quick reply!
Yes it is a combined pneumatic membrane valve.
I did as you suggested but with no luck unfortunately..

Hi,
The ports cannot be offset like you have them.
Move Port 3 so that it is located centrally between Port 1 and Port 2.
This issue is something that has been logged with our development team.
Thanks,
Dan
Hi,
Unfortunatly that didn't work either..
The only thing that has worked yet is if I change the "TYPE=VALVE,SKEY=V3BW" to "TYPE=TEE,SKEY=TEBW", and uses the tee ISO-symbol..
It seems like it does not work when I use the TYP=VALVE
Thanks, Erik
It might work that way, but be careful. Because now your valve become a fitting and you won't have valve tag written on the ISO automatically.
It needs to be Type=VALVE-3WAY for a 3way valve.
Hi,
Yes peter I know, but if I uses the TEE it works fine in the isometric.
But when I change it to "TYPE=VALVE" (even if it has the same symbol) it splits the iso in to two..
attila_vallyon I know. But that is the only way I have make it work and not split to two isos.

Erik Halvarsson
Well, do whatever works, I guess. Type=VALVE-3WAY is the way it's supposed to work. Type=VALVE means it is a 2 way valve. Type=TEE might put it in the wrong place in the BOM.
Hi Peter,
Now we are talking. That is a big part of the problem. I didnt know that you were supposed to use the TYPE=VALVE-3WAY.
Thank you!

Erik
Hi!
You need to make a custom part in catalog editor. There you choose offset = true.
Descriptions and so on will be different I believe
